    Great directly out of the box!

    The Clifton 9 is excellent. I've had several pairs of Hoka's, and the Clifton 9's are by far my favorite. I wore them to run directly out of box, and I could immediately tell that this was the shoe for me. I completed the run with ease and had zero-foot, ankle, knee, or back pain afterwards. The Clifton's have a very natural roll to them, and they're plush yet incredibly supportive. They are extremely lightweight as well. I've recommended these to several friends who are trying to get into running. There are shoes that are categorized as "running" shoes, and then there are ACTUAL running shoes. These are authentic!
